What materials will be required?
For the manufacture of this home-made device, in addition to the grinder, you need to use a section of a bent channel with rounded outer corners, two pieces of a square profile pipe, a lamb with a stud, a piece of steel strip, as well as a piece of a thick metal plate and two pieces of an equal-angle corner.
All these materials are easy to find in the workshop or garage, especially if you often do various metal crafts. As an option, all of the above "components" can be bought at any scrap collection point for almost a penny.
The main stages of work
In steel corners we drill two holes for fastenings on one of the sides. Then we weld a piece of thick metal plate on top of them. On the sides of the corners, you need to weld segments of the profile pipe, and to them a segment of the bent channel.
In a section of a steel strip, you need to drill a hole for the diameter of the stud with the lamb and screw it to the grinder body. The plate itself is welded to the channel. Then the surface must be cleaned with a grinding wheel and painted, after which the device can be used for work.
