Homemade hand-held electric mini-saw is compact in size, and can be useful in the home workshop. For example, for the manufacture of various crafts made of wood or plywood. This device can be assembled from affordable and inexpensive materials.
A small diameter saw blade is used as the cutting element. For the manufacture of this homemade product, a long pin with a bearing, a section of a profile pipe (even aluminum) with a hole for the bearing, and also some other materials will be required.
First of all, we cut a piece of profile suitable for the length. Then, using a step drill or a metal bit, we drill a through hole, after which we insert a hairpin with a small bearing. We put a small belt pulley on the hairpin and fix it with nuts.
The main stages of work
At one end of the profile pipe we drill two holes. We insert a wooden block into the profile and fasten it to the screws. Then we attach a metal corner to the profile pipe - a bracket for mounting the electric motor. We fasten a homemade wooden handle to the free end of the bar.
We install a belt pulley on the electric motor shaft. Then we solder the power and speed control button to the board, as well as the standard connector for the power adapter plug. We fix the connector on the motor housing with a plastic screed.
