This homemade product will be useful to absolutely all lovers of country recreation - from a regular cylinder, which is used in the system of gas equipment (gas equipment), a car can be made very convenient and practical to use barbecue for cooking barbecue.
The gas cylinder from the car is slightly different from the standard cylinder for propane - in particular, it does not provide a valve with a narrow neck in the upper part. Instead, it has a wider neck on the side.
The main stages of work
First, cut the door in the gas bottle. For convenience, you can use car kickbacks, with which you can securely fix the cylinder on the floor of the garage or workshop.
After that, take the lace and measure the circumference of the gas cylinder - then divide the resulting value in half and subtract another 50 mm. The standard diameter is within 95 cm, respectively, you need to divide this number into two (we get 47.5 cm, and subtract 0.5 cm). In the end, it comes out exactly 47 cm - this will be the size of the door.
Then we glue the masking tape along the contour and proceed directly to cutting the door. Be sure to leave a couple of millimeters in the corners (that is, do not cut the entire door completely) to make it more convenient to weld the hinges.
As for the loops themselves, you can buy factory ones in the store or make them from a pipe segment and steel round timber, if there is a lathe.
Bring the brazier to mind
At the final stage of work, when the loops are already welded, we make cuts for skewers at a distance of 6-7 cm from each other and 4 mm wide. Also, on the back of the gas cylinder, it is necessary to make holes with a 12 mm drill.
