From plastic bottles you can cut ribbons of the required thickness, which are useful in the household and in the country. And to dissolve the PET bottle, you need an adjustable bottle cutter.
Moreover, the device itself is quite simple - everyone can do it. Of the materials you will need a metal bar 1.5 mm thick, three bolts with nuts, and also a blade for a stationery knife.
The first step is to make a longitudinal cut in the "body" of the bolt. You can make it using a hand saw for metal. To make the cut smooth, the master uses in this case a wooden template.
The main stages of work
In the metal strip, it is necessary to drill three identical holes for the installation of bolts. Then the master inserts the bolts into the holes and fixes them with nuts. Also on the plate itself is a reel for winding a plastic tape.
For more convenient fastening of a homemade bottle cutter to the table, the lower part of the steel plate will need to be bent at a right angle. And to the top, where three holes for bolts are drilled, a piece of the corner should be welded on the side.
A hole is drilled in the corner - a stud is screwed into it, on which a plastic bottle will be worn. And the blade for the stationery knife is fixed between three bolts.
