Using a homemade vacuum pump, you can easily change the oil in the car. The device itself is very simple to manufacture. You will need a vacuum cleaner, a glass jar, pieces of PVC tubes and some other materials.
To make a home-made vacuum pump, you will also need a plastic corner for a pipe with a diameter of 15 mm. If there is no corner, you can use a tee, cutting off the unnecessary part, and "plugging" the excess holes with hot-melt adhesive.
The main stages of work
In a plastic lid for a can, it will be necessary to cut a couple of holes and insert a plastic corner and part of the nozzle for a vacuum cleaner into them.
The author joins the joints with hot melt adhesive, and then (for reliability) superglue with baking soda. As a result, the corner and part of the nozzle will firmly “sit” in their place.
Insert a piece of flexible hose with an inner diameter of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 12 mm into the hole in the plastic corner. Then a piece of PVC pipe Ø6 mm is inserted into it (this is the outer diameter).
Well, then everything is simple: we put the lid on the jar, connect the hose of the vacuum cleaner and then turn on the vacuum cleaner. Thus, the oil will be pumped out of the engine into a can.
