To fix the parts that you need to grab by welding, you can use a home-made universal clamp made from improvised materials.

In particular, this tool will be especially useful when it is necessary to weld bends, couplings, couplings and other details to round pipes. You can work with different diameters.

To make a DIY fixture for welding, you need the following materials:

  • two small pieces of a square profile pipe;
  • steel flexible tube, which is used to fix fixtures on machines;
  • piece of chain;
  • threaded rod, nuts and washers.

First of all, it will be necessary to connect two pieces of the profile pipe with each other using a flexible tube. Just to begin with, with the help of a grinder, it will be necessary to cut off the excess part.

In order for the flexible tube to be sufficiently rigid and hold its shape after bending, several rods of copper wire must be inserted inside it, having previously been cut to size.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, we weld the ends of the flexible tube in the center of two segments of the profile pipe.

Next, it will be necessary to cut the pin and chain in half, after which the segments of the chain must be welded to the studs.

Washers must be welded to one of the sides of the sections of the profile pipe. After that, we clean the welds, and you can start assembling.

Everything is assembled in an elementary simple way: we insert the studs into the sections of the profile pipe, and then fix them with nuts.
