Flower kusudamas may well become an original gift for any occasion for mom, sister, grandmother, girlfriend, girlfriend. They can decorate a room for a photo shoot or a holiday. On one flower you need 5 squares measuring 7 by 7 centimeters. But the sizes can be any. Especially beautiful such flowers will be obtained from double-sided paper. To fasten the elements together, you need PVA glue.
Origami Flower Technique
1. Fold the square in half, iron the fold, unfold and fold again in half, but already in the middle of the other two sides.
2. Bend the left corner down, and raise the right corner up. After that, unfold the part completely, bend the left corners - upper and lower - to the middle of the square. The module folds easily, but you need to be especially careful in the next step.
3. Bend the part in half so that the corners previously bent are outside on both sides. Expand and bend in half again, but already so that the bent corners are outside, on the one hand.
4. The diagonal lines must be folded so that the fold is at the bottom. How this can be done is perfectly shown in the video below.
5. Next, one right corner must be bent up, and the second also up, but on the other hand. Hide the left corner inside in the pocket. The right corner will remain outside to connect the modules with it. All you need to do five such details.
6. To connect the modules you need to take the glue, apply it to the outer corner, put it in the pocket of another module. Compress and let the parts stick together. After all five modules have been glued together, you need to close them in a circle - grease the outer tip with glue and put it in the pocket. Give time so that the petals stick together well.
7. Click on the workpiece from the back and form a flower, opening its petals - by bending some parts of the workpiece and folding the others.
