This homemade product is simple and effective - it allows you to sharpen the cutting teeth of the chain with maximum convenience, without the need to constantly hold the chainsaw body. In general, a very practical and useful thing in the household that you can craft with your own hands.
Materials and stages of work
To make this device you will need: four narrow and one wide plate, two plain and two elongated nuts, as well as two studs with lamb. Of the tools you will need to use a power drill or a stationary drilling machine, a grinder and a welding machine.
In a wide plate, it is necessary to mark and drill two holes at a small distance from each other. Then, on the edges of two narrow plates, you need to weld ordinary nuts.
Next, we weld two narrow plates with nuts to one side of the wide plate, and to the other two remaining plates, onto which then extended nuts must be welded on top. Then we insert the studs with the lamb.
It is advisable to clean all places of welds with a grinder, and the product itself can be sanded and painted for greater aesthetics.
Practical application
The design is screwed to the worktop using self-tapping screws (through holes in the base). Then, a tire with a chain is inserted into the working area and fixed with studs. After that, you can proceed to sharpen the teeth of the chain. Everything is simple and most importantly - reliable.
