It is only in the summer season that they are specifically overpriced (since a hot commodity), and therefore often have to give up the desired purchase. After all, who would like to overpay? The best option in this situation is to make a desktop rotary fan with your own hands.
Moreover, its device is so simple in terms of design that everyone can make a home-made "unit". The desktop version of the fan is a great solution if you spend a lot of time, for example, at the computer table at home or at work. A homemade fan will be useful in other situations. Materials and milestones
To make a home-made desktop fan, the following materials will be required: wooden blanks of various sizes, a plastic bottle, a small electric motor (RF-500 or others) and a gear motor. You will also need to prepare one gear from plastic, a plastic stopper, two bolts with nuts and washers, a micro USB connector, two power buttons and two clothes pegs.
From wooden parts, using hot-melt adhesive and a bolt with a nut, we assemble a rotary platform, on which an electric motor is then attached. From the remaining pieces of wood, we make the fan casing, and then we install the gear motor, which will drive the turntable. The base is made of two boards, between which you need to stick clothespins (for attaching to the table).
From a plastic bottle we make fan blades, which we glue to the cork and put on the motor shaft. At the last stage, we take a soldering iron in our hand and connect the power buttons and a micro USB connector. See the step-by-step work process in the video on the site.
