In a home workshop or in a country house, a nail puller (in common people - a nail puller) is needed no less than traditional hand tools: a hacksaw, a hammer, an ax, etc. Therefore, if for some reason you do not have such a device, it will not be superfluous to know how to make compact vyderg do it yourself.
In the classic view, the nail clipper is a curved wedge that ends with a forked tip with a slot. A handle is also provided that acts as a lever.
But for home use, a homemade pull out for nails of an unusual shape made from a pipe segment is quite suitable. This device is compact in size and easy to use. Moreover, a separate handle is not required for such a nail grader.
How to make a simple vyderg for home
For work, we need the most ordinary water pipe and a short piece of square-section steel bar. We cut a piece of suitable length from the pipe, on one side of which we make two cuts of a triangular shape with a grinder (large and small). Saws must be parallel to each other.
Next, you need to focus. To do this, step back from the edge of the pipe 4-5 cm, make a markup, and then cut a rectangular "window". We insert a steel bar into the resulting hole and scald it from all sides. We clean the surface well with a grinding disc.
Such a pull-out looks somewhat unusual in comparison with the classic manual nail drivers, but copes with its main task (pulling out small and medium nails) perfectly.
