Rest in the country, away from the bustle of the city - it is always a pleasant pastime and good mood. And a traditional dish in nature is barbecue. However, many will not refuse pilaf or fish soup cooked in a cauldron. But what if you want both one and the other?

In this case, you need a street brazier, which can be made from improvised materials. The frame of the entire structure consists of sheet metal 2 mm thick. You will also need a corner, a galvanized pipe for the installation of the chimney, a piece of pipe with a damper (you can do it yourself), square steel bars or fittings.

The process of making a homemade brazier

First of all, we mark on the surface of sheet metal and cut out blanks of suitable sizes and shapes. Then we weld the walls together, exposing them at a right angle. From two pieces of corners we make vertical guides for the door of the stove, which is cut from the same sheet metal as the walls.

In the side wall of the brazier, you need to make a hole for the chimney made of galvanized steel. But first, a piece of ordinary steel pipe with a damper is welded to the wall, so that, if necessary, it is possible to regulate the intensity of combustion, and only then a galvanized steel pipe is attached with a clamp.

At the next stage, we weld a “tooth” inside the square box - the so-called chimney flame chimney, which prevents the flame from flying into the pipe. Since the walls of the brazier are made of thin sheet steel, we therefore reinforce them with a steel square of 8 mm.

Then it remains only to make and install a grate, make a door for the combustion chamber, and also make an ash pan with a handle and weld the top cover with a hole for the cauldron. See the step-by-step process of manufacturing the brazier in the video on the site.
