To make a manual mechanical hoist, you need a bicycle hub with a large sprocket and chain, as well as pieces of steel strip of suitable size and thickness. All these materials can be found or bought at a metal receiver without any problems.
The main stages of work
First of all, it is necessary to trim a part of the wheel hub of the bicycle with a grinder so that as a result a big asterisk is obtained. Then you need to make a body - for this, from wide strips of metal, you need to bend in a vice three parts that are fastened together using bolts.
To do this, drill holes in the designated areas of the workpieces, and then cut the threads into them for the diameter of the bolts. Next, you need to drill a hole under the shaft. A wheel hub with a large sprocket is installed inside the case.
At the next stage, a small sprocket must be cut from a piece of steel plate, which is mounted on a drive shaft located on top of the hub. You will also need to install a locking knob. A steel hook is welded to the top of the body.
