Using a small electric DC motor, an adapter and a battery of the Krone size, it is easy to make a universal mini-tool for home use. With this home-made tool you can easily drill small holes, cut workpieces from wood or plastic, and also grind the metal surface.
To make a 3-in-1 universal mini-tool, you need a piece of PCB (circuit board), a rechargeable battery, a DC motor, an on / off button, a universal adapter for a small diameter drill, a mini cutting disc, and also a conical nozzle for grinding.
The main stages of work
On a textolite board of suitable sizes, it is necessary to fix a DC motor (you can use a glue gun with hot glue).
For greater reliability, we fix the motor with two plastic cable ties. On this board, you need to install the battery "Krona".
Then we wire the contacts of the electric motor with the contacts on the power button and the battery connector. In this case, you need skills with a soldering iron. We also glue the on / off button to the board using a hot-melt glue gun.
The result is a compact and versatile mini-tool for home use, with which you can perform various operations on processing materials from plastic, wood and metal. Of course, it will not work to drill steel with such a tool (except perhaps thin sheet metal), but it is suitable for grinding.
