The metal part of the dining table (this is the legs and support for the countertop) consists of a profile pipe of rectangular cross section - 40 * 20 mm in size. First, it will be necessary to cut off eight blanks of the same length using a grinder.
The main stages of work
Please note that blanks from the profile must be cut at an angle. Then they must be cleaned using angle grinders, and then welded together. As a result, the support racks for the countertops will be an extension of the legs of the table.
Next, it will be necessary to weld a piece of metal strip to the upper part of the profile pipe. And then two more short segments - perpendicularly. The result will be a cross on which the countertop itself will rest.
On the edges of the cross must be cut. Then the author strips the metal grinder with a petal circle and proceeds to painting. At the last stage, a round wooden tabletop is made. It will need to be screwed to the metal part of the table.
