The fish dryer is useful to anyone who enjoys tasting dried river and sea fish, especially fishermen. And you can make it yourself from improvised materials.
For this homemade product you will need three pieces of a square profile pipe with a cross section of 15x15 mm and a length of approximately 300 mm. Also, for the manufacture of the dryer, segments of a steel square of 10x10 mm will be needed.
First of all, we customize the metal workpieces to the desired size. Further, in the sections of the profile pipe, it is necessary to make a longitudinal slot (groove) in one of the walls.
In sections of a steel square, eight holes must be drilled with a drill for metal with a diameter of 2 mm. The distance between the centers of the holes is 30 mm.
The main stages of work
At the next stage of work, a steel wire with a diameter of 2 mm will be required (both fired and unfired wire are suitable for this, and ideally, it is better to use stainless steel wire).
We cut the wire into small pieces, and one edge will need to be sharpened a little. After that, the author, using pliers, forms hooks that will be used to hang fish.
By soldering or in another way, we attach the hooks to the segments of the metal square. We insert the squares into the profile pipes with a groove.
At the last stage, it remains only to make a side wall with two fans and install it on a box. You can make it yourself or use a ready-made one (for example, a box for breeding rabbits).
