First of all, with the help of a permanent marker, the master draws the shape of the future knife on the workpiece.
The shape may be arbitrary. But if you can’t draw, then you can use some ready-made template.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author cuts the blank with a grinder, and processes it on a grinder. Then he drills three holes. Next, it will be necessary to make the initial sharpening of the cleaver blade and harden it in oil.
After this, the final sharpening of the blade is carried out to the desired sharpness. The final touch is the manufacture of a wooden handle.
To do this, the author uses a red tree. However, this is not important - you can make a handle out of ordinary wood.
