Home craftsmen often make racks for angle grinders and electric drills. However, if you make a stand for each tool separately, you will need a lot of space, which is usually not enough in the workshop and garage.
Therefore, in this review, the author proposes to make a simple universal stand with your own hands, which can be used together with a grinder, a drill and even a hand-held circular saw.
Using a home-made universal stand, you can cut a workpiece from metal or wood, and then immediately, changing the angle grinder or manual circular to an electric drill, drill holes in it.
The main stages of work
The first step is to cut the workpiece of the desired length from the profile of a rectangular section. At the ends, the author clogs wooden stubs.
At the next stage, the author drills holes in the blanks, after which he connects them to each other using bolts and nuts.
Next, the master cuts a piece of the corner and welds to it a piece of a rectangular profile pipe mounted vertically.
The corner is screwed to the table, and then to the profile pipe you need to attach the lever itself from the profile, at the end of which there will be a power tool.
In the end, it remains only to make a mount for the grinder, drill and manual circular. This will require pieces of a corner and a bearing.
