In this review, the author tells in detail how you can do the tinting of the side window of a car with your own hands without removing it. Moreover, this can be done without even having experience in carrying out such work.
First of all, it will be necessary to wipe the glass well on both sides: first from the outside, then from the inside.
Then we take out a roll of tinted film from the packaging and cut a piece of the right size from it with scissors or a knife.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, lower the side window a little, use liquid spray or Fairy on the outside with a sprinkler, then apply the back of the film and gently smooth it with a spatula.
Then we take the blade for the stationery knife in our hands and very carefully, without rushing, cut the film in the shape of a glass.
Next, remove the protective layer and spray onto the film with the same liquid soap or Fairy. It is advisable to do this together, and not alone.
After that, gently glue the tinted film to the inside of the glass, after spraying it with soapy water. Then align the film to the top edge of the glass.
After the film is aligned on the glass, smooth it with a spatula, pre-wrapping it in a rag, so as not to damage the surface of the film.
Slightly raise the glass and smooth the film further. By the way, if you have a rubber spatula, then you can do without a rag.
