From cut strips, it is necessary to make bars of 70 cm each. From one plastic bottle with a volume of 1.5 liters, an average of 5-7 bars is obtained.
How to make bars from cut strips? Very simple. This will require a building hair dryer. We heat the strip over the hairdryer, and then twist it.
For convenience, you can use a screwdriver or an electric drill. We insert the twisted end of the strip into the cartridge and twist it not with our hands, but with the help of a power tool.
The main stages of work
To make a broom, you will need about two hundred rods - for this you will need to dissolve about 30-35 plastic bottles into strips.
In the next step, you will need to bend each bar in half.
Using a stapler, we fasten a wide strip to a wooden holder, onto which we then put on double-folded rods. Then we wind the strip on the stalk.
Next, we wrap the remaining end of the strip around the holder and fix it using a self-tapping screw with a press washer. We also heat the strip with a hairdryer for shrink.
