In this review, the author makes a screw press. To do this, he uses pieces of the channel and some other details, which we will discuss below.
So, for the manufacture of a screw press, you will need a screw with a nut, two identical pieces of a channel, two pieces of pipe and two metal bars.
We drill holes along the edges of the channels. In one of the blanks you need to drill another hole in the center. We press the nut from the screw into it, and scald.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we connect two pieces of the channel using racks made of steel pipes. Into the racks we insert segments of a round bar.
After that, the excess part of the bars is cut off with a grinder, and scald.
In the shaft with a screw thread in the center, drill a hole with a diameter of 8 mm. To do this, you need a drilling machine - you cannot drill exactly with a hand drill.
In the drilled hole, the author clogs the automobile valve. Then you need to cut off the hat, and scald the resulting stock.
Next, we attach a heel to the rod, which should spin freely.
Then we install the screw in its place and put on it a pulley from the sewing machine. We fix it with a pin and a nut.
Using bolts, we attach the device to the workbench, and you can use it for its intended purpose.
