Gasoline is a very flammable liquid, due to the fact that it is obtained from fractions of oil with a low boiling point. Gasoline itself not only burns very well, but its vapors are also very well ignited, therefore it is strictly forbidden to leave containers with it open.
In the article you will see, solely for acquaintance, how to make an installation that will produce gas, with which you can power the burner and provide long and stable combustion.
Will need
- Two plastic bottles of 1.5-2 liters in volume.
- Silicone hose resistant to oil products.
- Air pump (pomp) at 12 V.
- Battery 12 V.
From reagents: gasoline and water.
Production of a gas production unit
In the lids you need to do a couple of holes. This can be done with ordinary scissors.
The holes should be the diameter of the hose that will pass through them.
We insert the tube. One enters the cover for 2-3 centimeters.
And the other is the length of the available bottle.
We glue the tubes in the covers with hot glue on both sides.
The first bottle will have gas. The long tube that lies at the bottom is the air inlet, the small one is the outlet and it is connected to a water bottle, to that hose that lies at the bottom. And the small hose of their water bottle is the burner outlet.
The main "reactor" is ready.
Pour gasoline into the first bottle to half, into another water, as well to half.
We connect the air pump to the long tube that lies in gasoline.
We connect a gas burner to the short end that comes out of the water bottle.
Test
We connect the battery to the pump. The pump begins to pump air from the atmosphere. Passing through gasoline, it is saturated with its vapor. Then it passes through a bottle of water, this is the so-called water lock, which prevents the ingress of large drops of gasoline. And the vessel itself stabilizes the passage of air with vapors, thereby obtaining combustion stability, without any jerks.
We ignite the gas from the burner.
As you can see, it burns successfully. Like a real gas.
We notice the initial amount of gasoline.
We put water on the stove and try to boil.
Everything boiled in ten minutes.
The flame burned out for about 40 minutes in total, and this is how much the level went down.
Of course, all gasoline cannot be used, since such a method removes the most volatile fractions from the fuel, while heavier ones will still remain at the bottom of the bottle.
Lastly, I want to add that this is a visual experiment for familiarization and no more, and not a guide to action. Only you and no one else are responsible for any actions in your life! Bye everyone.
