How to glue a kitchen cabinet with adhesive tape

I got a gift from an old kitchen wall cabinet. His frame was quite decent and it was a pity to throw out such furniture, and I wanted to save on buying new kitchen furniture, which we did not have. Then I decided to restore this cabinet with a regular self-adhesive film.
There were a lot of colors in the store, and the price of such a film is small. I acquired two meters of a film 45 centimeters wide.
First I unscrewed the old, lost-looking furniture handles.
Since the cabinet was already pasted over with a film, I had to remove it. It is removed quite simply, but leaves behind an ugly sticky layer, which also must be removed. I removed this layer with an ordinary cleaning powder and an abrasive sponge. I can say that I had to rub it well, but I still cleaned the cupboard.
Doors must also be unscrewed so that it is more convenient to glue them.
Next, you need to measure the length and width of the film for gluing the door. We take the length and width of the film with a margin of 3 centimeters.
Then we separate the edge of the film from its base and carefully apply it to the upper or lower part of the door from the front side (see the photo below how to do it). Note that it is very important to separate only the edge of the film, and not all at once.
Now we take a piece of soft fabric and, smoothing her film, glue it to the door. With your right hand, slowly pull the base of the film, which is located below, and with your left constantly smooth the front side. Thus, the film adheres very evenly without bubbles and bends.
When the front part of the door is glued, turn the door over.
We proceed to gluing the end parts of the door. To do this, glue the film first to the lower (or upper) end (see photo).
Next, we make an incision on the side in the manner shown in the photo, and wrap the cut piece by gluing it.
Cut off the top part with a simple clerical knife.
We bend the remaining sharpening edge and glue it on the inside of the door. Then in the same way we process the angle on the other side. Also glue the butt on the opposite side.
We bend the edge of the film along the long end of the door and glue it.
The protruding edges are cut with a clerical knife or ordinary scissors.
The door is ready! See how the film is carefully adhered in the manner described above.
We fasten new furniture handles.
And here is the finished cabinet. If desired, you can glue the end of the cabinet itself.
